Ikhmas Unit bags two contracts worth RM257.7 million to upgrade Kajang Hospital


Ikhmas Jaya Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned unit of Ikhmas Jaya Group Bhd's (Ikhmas) has won two contracts from Naluri Rezeki Sdn Bhd worth RM198.98 million to design, construct, test, commission, maintain and complete the Kajang Hospital upgrading project.

"The project was for 36 months and defect liability period of 24 months from the date of the letter of award and/or execution of the construction agreement," Ikhmas said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

It said IJSB had also accepted the terms and conditions of the demolition and construction contract valued at RM58.75 million from Putrajaya Ventures Sdn Bhd.

The contract entails the demolition of an existing three-storey office building with two levels basement and two-storey bungalow as well as construction and completion of substructure works consisting of two levels parking area at Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

It said the project was for 18 months from the date of site possession, which will be determined soon.
