Humanitarian Care Malaysia Berhad (MyCare) will set up a special fund soon to help the family of Palestinian lecturer and imam, Dr Fadi Mohammed Al Batsh, who was shot dead in Setapak, recently.
MyCare Trustees Board member Fauziah Mohd Hassan said the proposed fund was aimed at easing the financial burden of Fadi's wife and three children in Malaysia.
"We hope to get support from the public once the fund is set up," she said.
Fauziah said Fadi's wife, Enas, 30, was badly traumatised right now and their children, aged one to six were being taken care of by neighbours.
"I was informed by Enas' friends and other women from the Palestinian community that she has to take medicine to help her sleep," she said.
