With 396,578 vaccine doses administered yesterday, 56.9% of Malaysia’s adult population have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
A total of 31,792,363 doses have now been given in the country, with every state except Sabah (31.4%) having fully immunised at least a third of their adult population.
In a Twitter post, the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee said three states or areas have already hit their 80% full vaccination target.
Labuan leads with 92.4% of adults having received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, followed by Sarawak (85.4%) and the Klang Valley (85.2%).
This is followed by Negeri Sembilan (72.3%) and Perlis (62.4%), with the fully vaccinated proportion of all other states below half.
In all, 78.9% of the eligible population has received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. FMT
