KUALA LUMPUR – Tesco (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Reckitt Benckiser (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, producer of insecticide, are planning to distribute insecticide to every home in dengue hotspots in Selangor, Kelantan, Perak and Johor.

According to Tesco’s government relations and legal affairs director Azlam Shah Alias, at an earlier stage, the campaign would highlight the dangers of dengue and arm residents with the right tools to eliminate the aedes mosquitoe.

“Thereafter, we will donate a can of Sheildtox aerosol spray 270ml to residents of identified areas,” he told reporters after the launch of Tesco-Reckitt Benckiser Dengue Awareness Campaign here.

The month-long campaign will be held at all 35 stores nationwide, starting today.
