The RM13 million set aside for the Orang Asli community at Pos Brooke, Lojing in the interior of Kelantan is expected to be completed this year.
It is crucial to the Orang Asli community in the interior to receive treatment and raise healthcare awareness.
Galas assemblyman Ab Aziz Yusof said the health clinic was strategically located along Jalan Gua Musang-Lojing and near the Sekolah Kebangsaan Pos Brooke.
"Several residents in nearby villages can also come to the health clinic for medical treatment at any time without requiring transportation from the Orang Asli Development Department (Jakoa)," he said.
Ab Aziz said the federal government had never neglected the needs of the Orang Asli to receive the best medical treatment, especially in comfortable buildings.
While waiting for the clinic to be ready, the Health Department had provided health services at the Lojing sub-district Land Office here.
