The Health Ministry today extended its condolences to the family of Siti Kharina Mohd Kamarudin who was found murdered in a rented condominium unit in Cyberjaya yesterday.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Siti Kharina’s murder case is now a police case and the post mortem has been completed.
“The ministry is confident that the police are doing their best to solve this case. Members of the public are asked to stop speculating so as not to interfere with the investigation, and at the same time to respect the feelings of the victim's grieving family,” he said in a statement here today.
Siti Kharina, 40 was found murdered in a rented condominium unit in Cyberjaya by the unit’s landlord Wednesday with slash wounds on her chest, neck and head.
On Sunday, the Serdang Hospital management confirmed that Siti Kharina, who was reported missing earlier, was last seen at the hospital's parking area on May 8. She was seen driving a white Honda City car.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 Penal Code.
